Lesley Norris Singer
Physiotherapist
Lesley Singer is a registered physiotherapist with the OPPQ (1995-present). She is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (1995-present) where she was a co-founder of the Pain Science Division (2008) and sat on the board until 2012. She is a graduate of McGill BSc PT 1995 and MSc Rehabilitation Science (2010) and has practiced in both the public sector and the private sector. Her research for her master’s program was on outcome measures in chronic pain management. She was a course coordinator and lecturer of chronic pain management in the School of PT and OT from 2011-2016 for physiotherapy students and has been a course lecturer in the department of Medicine in the School of PT and OT in the master’s level certificate in chronic pain management for practicing clinicians since 2012. She sits on the board of the Steering Committee for the Certificate in Chronic Pain Management.
Lesley is also a patient advocate and patient partner for the chronic pain network where she was the co-chair of the knowledge translation committee for 4 years. She now also works with the Quebec Pain Research Network as a partner in research teams representing the voice of the person living with chronic pain.
